Programming at our Spring Lane location consists of Residential treament and specialized treatment tracks. Philadelphia Outpatient Services are offered at our Philadelphia, PA - Center City, Radnor, PA and Mount Laurel, NJ locations.

Meet Our Clinical Leader:
David Hahn, MD, is Medical Director at The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia. He received his doctorate of medicine from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his psychiatry residency at The Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Hahn is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and Board Certified in Psychiatry. He has been with The Renfrew Center since 1997, where he began as a staff psychiatrist, specializing in residential treatment for adolescent girls and women in midlife struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder. Dr. Hahn frequently lectures at local medical schools and supervises psychiatrists in training.
The Renfrew Center is pleased to offer a new, Virtual Therapy Group for adolescent girls and women in Pennsylvania who struggle with disordered eating or who are working towards recovery from an eating disorder.
This online, virtual therapy group offers structured care in a web-based environment. Participants actively engage with each other to explore and understand the emotions and relational functions of their disordered eating and develop strategies to connect to emotions, improve communications and achieve recovery focused goals. Group curriculum is informed by the empirically based Renfrew Center Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders®.
To get started, you will need to have access to Wi-Fi and a device such as a computer or tablet with a camera and screen.
Participants must be located in Pennsylvania.

The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia offers a Diabetes Program for Eating Disorders.
• Dual-diagnosis diabetes and eating disorder treatment based on latest findings in the field of emotion science research.
• Integrated diabetes management with psychological treatment for eating disorder recovery.
• Consultative services of a Certified Diabetes Educator® experienced in eating disorders field.
• Collaboration with outpatient diabetes providers.
• Experiential activities including cooking, grocery shopping, art therapy, exercise, and food, body image, and social exposures.
• Multidisciplinary Readiness Review
Multidisciplinary criteria to assess readiness for returning to insulin pump therapy prior to discharge.
• Comprehensive and Interactive Diabetes Workbook
Uses real patient experiences to help patients understand the high risk of diabetes complications and how these complications may affect their life goals.
