Exercise can be a major challenge for those in recovery. Whether you are seeking to enjoy movement for the first time, or your relationship with exercise as been excessive or compulsive as a result of your eating disorder, you may wonder how to engage with exercise in the recovery process.

This webinar will review guidelines on appropriate exercise, including how to identify when to incorporate movement or acknowledge if it is delaying recovery. Discussion will explore tips on finding balance with exercise, emphasizing a mindful and gradual approach to physical activity. This presentation will also provide suggestions for improving your overall relationship with movement in recovery.

About the Presenter

Kristen Raspanti, BSHS, MOT, is the Residential Clinical Manager at The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia – Spring Lane. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Wellness Management and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Ms. Raspanti’s background experience covers a wide range of settings and populations, including providing physical activity education and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. ​
