What Does Outpatient Treatment Include?
Outpatient services are an excellent “step down” for those transitioning from a higher level of care. Services vary by location and may include any of the following:
- Family Therapy and Caregiver Consultations
- Group & Individual Therapy
- Short-term and Long-term Options
- Telehealth and In-person Availability
Group therapy, both short-term and long-term, covers a wide variety of issues including eating disorder symptoms, anxiety, substance use, depression, marginalized identities, sexuality and gender, trauma and abuse, relationships, family, careers, and life changes. Group therapy is offered both in-person and virtually.
Family and friends play an integral role in the recovery process and we believe supportive family involvement can improve treatment outcomes. To maintain family involvement in treatment and support the needs of caregivers, Renfrew offers:
- Multi-Family Groups
- Caregiver Consultations and Support Groups
