Scholarship Opportunities Available for The Renfrew Center Foundation’s 2021 VIRTUAL Conference for Professionals

The Renfrew Center Foundation, established in 1990, is dedicated to the elimination of eating disorders through education, prevention, research, advocacy, and treatment. The Foundation values the professional development of future leaders in the field and recognizes the long – lasting benefits of Conference attendance for both educational and networking opportunities.

In keeping with this mission, we are pleased to offer scholarships for the 2021 Virtual Renfrew Center Foundation Conference, which include a complimentary full Conference registration.

Eligibility

Scholarship applicant:

  • Is a credentialed researcher, clinician or advocate who has five years or less experience working within the field of eating disorders.
  • Can demonstrate commitment to education, prevention, research, advocacy and/or treatment of eating disorders.

OR

  • Is a first-time attendee to The Renfrew Center Foundation Conference.
  • Can demonstrate commitment to education, prevention, research, advocacy and/or treatment of eating disorders.
  • Is a credentialed researcher, clinician or advocate who has experience working within the field of eating disorders.

Application Process

Submit the following items:

  • Online application form
  • An updated resume/CV
  • Short essay (500 words max) that describes the following:
    • Your experience thus far in the eating disorder field or your interest in the field.
    • How you will use the Conference experience to enhance your development as a professional in the field.
    • How do you see yourself contributing to the field?
