Residential Eating Disorder Treatment in Florida

Going to treatment was not an easy decision, but a very important one. I could not have been blessed with a more amazing team. They took their time to understand me and genuinely cared about my progress. The process was hard and challenging, and draining, and also so rewarding! My life is forever changed because of my time at Renfrew.

Renfrew saved my daughter! The staff was amazing and patient with her. Not everyone can have the same experience in their journey but I can positively say that if it wasn’t for Renfrew, I don’t know how things would have turned out! I see happiness in my daughter’s eyes again and for that our family is eternally grateful! THANK YOU RENFREW! 

The Renfrew Center of Florida is a great place for eating disorder residential treatment. The staff are caring and welcoming along with the client community. Everyone there is there to support you on your recovery journey. Though it was tough to be away working on myself I’m glad I took the step to recovery and bettering myself. Thank you Renfrew! 

I can confidently say that I would not be the person I am today without the support, guidance, and healing space offered to me by The Renfrew Center. Going in and being in treatment was hard work, and also it is the best decision I have ever made.  As I continue in my recovery outside of treatment, my worldview has been expanded to find that there really is a full life waiting for me outside of my eating disorder!  

During my residential stay at The Renfrew Center of Florida, the love from my friends and family back home combined with the kindness from individuals at the center surrounded me and strengthened me. For the first time ever, I was able to let my guard down. I learned to embrace the present moment, letting my past fade and discovering how I wanted to build my future. My eating disorder is a fading memory, like a bad relationship. The pieces of my life and myself are coming together.

Renfrew saved my life. I cannot put it any more plainly than that. Not everyone is ready for treatment, and it is not easy. It has been just over a year since I discharged and I am proud to say I have maintained but know I still have healing ahead of me. That’s okay. I am alive. I am healthy. If you are ready to choose LIFE – YOUR LIFE – I cannot recommend The Renfrew Center of Florida enough.

The staff at The Renfrew Center of Florida were amazingly supportive, professional, and committed to our daughter, and the other providers from psychiatrists to reception were kind, professional, transparent, and willing to work with us as parents. I would highly recommend this facility.
