The Renfrew Center's 2019 Alumni Winter Event

The Winding Road of Recovery:
Handling the Speed Bumps and Pitfalls

The road to recovery can consist of unpredictable twists, turns and bends, but there is certainty in knowing others have traveled a similar road and found the straightway. Join us for an enlightening and supportive two-hour workshop that will explore the speed bumps that may arise this time of year and strategize a plan to keep you on the path to recovery, no matter how windy it maybe.

This workshop will focus on:

  • Identifying common speed bumps and pitfalls during the holidays.
  • Using experiential therapy to experience how recovery is not a linear process.
  • Developing a plan, should a slip-up occur, that can be shared with supports and an outpatient team.

FREE workshop for Renfrew Alumni • Light refreshments will be served

Date: Monday, December 9, 2019
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
