The Renfrew Center of Boston provides compassionate, evidence-based outpatient treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, ARFID, and the full spectrum of eating disorders. Located on Commonwealth Avenue’s scenic boulevard, across from Agganis Arena on Boston University’s campus and steps from the MBTA Green Line (BU West stop), our center is easily accessible by public transit, with metered street parking and nearby garages for drivers. While we welcome college students and young adults balancing academic and social life, our environment also supports individuals of all ages who are seeking recovery and connection. Our team is committed to providing affirming, supportive, and culturally responsive care to every person who walks through our doors. 

We offer a full range of programming tailored to each patient’s needs, including: 

• Day Treatment (PHP) – Intensive, structured eating disorder outpatient programming five days a week with patients returning to their home in the evenings. 
• Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – Flexible care three times a week, ideal for step-down support or more support than outpatient treatment. 
• Outpatient Services – Outpatient therapy groups, support groups. 

Our multidisciplinary team includes therapists, dietitians, and medical professionals who deliver care through The Renfrew Center’s Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders®, an evidence-based, transdiagnostic approach grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and relational-cultural principles. This model is part of the Oxford University Press Treatments That Work series. We also provide expressive therapies, nutrition therapy and actively involve families and supports in the healing process. 

For patients needing a higher level of care, residential treatment is available at The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia – Spring Lane and The Renfrew Center of Florida.
