Eating disorders may lead us to feelings of self-doubt and isolation. In recovery, relearning how to trust yourself, become a trustworthy person, and (re)build trust in others can all improve our emotional wellbeing. The Renfrew Center invites you to join us for an interactive workshop where we will explore tools to cultivate self-assurance, live intuitively, and seek connection.

Attendees will:

  • Participate in discussion around trust and how they may have felt like they lost it in their eating disorder as well as how they’re working to regain it in recovery.
  • Learn about the importance of trust in their relationships with others as well as with their bodies.
  • Engage in an activity to experience the process of trust and the emotions that come up for them around trust.
  • Leave with takeaways on how to continue building trust with themselves and others.
