Values Discovery in Recovery

Values Discovery in Recovery

Wednesday, September 21, 2022 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (ET)

Free | Interactive Webinar
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (ET)

Presented by: Gaby DeParis, MA, LAPC, NCC & Raven Scott, APC, MS, NCC

Held Online

Serving as a guide for human behavior, values are individual beliefs that motivate people to act one way or another. Values allow us to create meaning and purpose in our lives. All too often, our true values are overtaken by conditions causing us to move in another direction – body image distress, food fears and social anxieties.

This webinar will explore methods to identify and define our values and how they relate to treatment and recovery. Differentiating between our personal values and the values of the eating disorder will be examined. Utilizing values as motivators for recovery, this webinar will also focus on how to live closer in alignment with our true values.
