The Renfrew Center is offering a virtual support group for alumni of our Residential program as they move forward in their recovery.

Participants in this online group will:

  • Discuss the unique challenges faced by those in eating disorder recovery after leaving residential treatment.
  • Receive take-away tips to navigate relationships and prioritize self-care in the home environment.
  • Review and practice the skills needed to cope with emotions in adaptive ways.

Held online via Zoom. Attendees will need access to wi-fi, and a device with a camera, microphone and audio capabilities

Samantha DeCaro

About the Facilitator

Samantha DeCaro, PsyD, is Director of Clinical Outreach and Education at The Renfrew Center. Dr. DeCaro received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at LaSalle University, and her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA. She has been with Renfrew since 2012, completing her post-doctoral residency at The Renfrew Center Philadelphia – Spring Lane, then holding the position of Primary Therapist, and most recently serving as Assistant Clinical Director. As Renfrew’s national spokesperson, Dr. DeCaro has been featured in the media as an eating disorder expert on various television shows, radio programs, podcasts, and online magazines. She is a frequent lecturer and serves as the Alumni Representative for The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia.

Kelsey Brannock, MPS, ATPR, Program Manager and Primary Therapist at The Renfrew Center of Coconut Creek, FL. Ms. Brannock graduated from Florida State University and then served 3 years as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in the Philippines. Following her service, she moved to New York where she received a master’s degree in creative arts therapy from the School of Visual Arts in May 2017. Following her graduation, Ms. Brannock began working at The Renfrew Center in Coconut Creek, Florida. She specializes in trauma-informed art therapy with individuals with eating disorders and other comorbid disorders.
