The Renfrew Center of Charlotte provides compassionate, evidence-based outpatient treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, ARFID, and the full spectrum of eating disorders. Located in the heart of the vibrant SouthPark neighborhood, our center sits in a charming, freestanding brick house that feels like a welcoming family home, offering comfort and warmth from the moment patients walk through the door. While centrally located for easy access, the site also provides ample privacy and parking.  

We offer a full range of programming tailored to each patient’s needs, including: 

• Day Treatment (PHP) – Intensive, structured eating disorder outpatient programming five days a week, with patients returning to their home in the evenings. 
• Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – Flexible care three times a week, ideal for step-down support or more support than outpatient treatment. 
• Outpatient Services – Outpatient therapy groups, support groups. 

Our multidisciplinary team includes therapists, dietitians, and medical professionals who deliver care through The Renfrew Center’s Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders®, an evidence-based, transdiagnostic approach grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and relational-cultural principles. This model is part of the Oxford University Press Treatments That Work series. We also provide expressive therapies, nutrition therapy and actively involve families and loved ones in the healing process. 

For patients needing a higher level of care, residential treatment is available at The Renfrew Center of Coconut Creek, Florida, and The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia – Spring Lane.
