Presented by: Samantha DeCaro, PsyD - Director of Clinical Outreach and Education, The Renfrew Center
Held Online
It’s completely normal to feel torn in eating disorder recovery – wanting freedom from the disorder while also feeling afraid to let it go. You might feel uncertain about entering a higher level of care, trusting your body, or even starting recovery at all. These mixed emotions – feeling stuck, ambivalent, or “on the fence” – are not signs of failure, but natural parts of the process.
In this supportive webinar, you’ll learn what ambivalence really is, why it shows up, and how to work with it. Through 10 practical strategies, you’ll gain tools to understand your inner conflict, reconnect with your values, and take small but meaningful steps forward. This is a space to feel seen, supported, and reminded that recovery doesn’t require certainty – just a willingness to meet yourself exactly where you are.
