The Renfrew Center of Georgia Now Open in Atlanta
The Renfrew Center, the nation’s first residential eating disorder treatment facility, established in 1985, and the largest network of eating disorder treatment centers, announced today it has opened in Atlanta, GA. The new site, like all of its centers, specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, EDNOS, binge eating disorder, and related mental illnesses.
Programming at The Renfrew Center of Georgia consists of a comprehensive range of services, including day treatment, intensive outpatient and group therapy.
“We’re excited to bring our expertise to Georgia,” said Samuel E. Menaged, JD, Founder and President of The Renfrew Centers. “Through this new location it is our goal to empower more women in the Atlanta area to change their lives and ultimately recover from their eating disorders.”
Renfrew’s treatment philosophy emphasizes a respect for the unique psychology of women, the importance of a collaborative therapeutic relationship, and the belief that every woman needs to actively participate in her own recovery. The Renfrew Center works directly with most major insurance companies.
