The Renfrew Center of Radnor specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder and related mental illnesses. Programming consists of a comprehensive range of services, including day treatment, intensive outpatient and group therapy.

Parking is located on the premises and it is easily accessible and is within walking distance from the train station. We are handicap accessible.

This is a skill that is essential in helping you effectively navigate the physical and emotional upheaval that seems to build up as the season approaches.

The Renfrew Center of Radnor is offering the following groups:

The Young Adult Group is tailored to women ages 19-29 who struggle with disordered eating. The group focuses on processing through eating disordered thoughts, feelings and behaviors as well as the biopsychosocial and cultural factors that apply to this phase of life. Topics of group discussion include: body image, relationships, school, work, family and life transitions. Group members are encouraged to engage and share with each other in a safe, supportive environment.

The Renfrew Center of Radnor

The Emotional/Binge Eating Group will empower participants to understand how their feelings, actions and thoughts impact their relationship with food. Patients will work to identify and address issues that underlie their need to eat emotionally and explore new ways to deal with old problems.

Wednesday Evenings from 6:15 - 7:45 pm

The Thirty Something and Beyond Group helps participants 30 years of age or older explore the connections between their eating concerns and other life challenges in the family, social and occupational areas.

Wednesday Evenings from 4:30 - 6:00 pm

The Outpatient Art Therapy Group provides individuals the support and guidance needed to use art therapy as a medium to process issues central to eating disorder recovery. Issues of motivation/ambivalence, body image, relationships, self-concept, and emotional awareness will be explored.

The Gender, Identity and Sexuality Group is designed to provide continued support for people in recovery from an eating disorder who identify as members of the LGBTQI community. This group creates a safe, nurturing and culturally - competent environment with the goal of providing an enhanced recovery experience.
