Free Summer Event for Renfrew Alumni

The Positive Power of Neutrality: Accepting Yourself As You Are

Continuous exposure to media messages such as 'Love Your Body' and 'Celebrate Your Size' are often easier said than done. For those in recovery from an eating disorder, joining the body positive movement may seem like a challenging or unattainable destination. With this comes the concept of neutrality—accepting yourself, your body and your journey without judgment.

Join us for a FREE interactive workshop where we will explore the grey area between positive and negative, good and bad, right and wrong.

Attendees will:

• Define body neutrality and realistic paths to attain it.
• Identify thinking traps that may arise and how to work through them.
• Learn tools to address extreme thoughts and find middle ground.
