Occupational Therapy: Your Relationship with Food through Mindful Eating
In this workshop, alumni will evaluate their relationships while in recovery and identify unhealthy vs healthy relationships. Skills to help cultivate healthy relationships and/or end unhealthy relationships will be addressed.

Exploring Family Dynamic and Relationships through Art Therapy
In this workshop, attendees will focus on exploring their experiences of family through visual representations. Alumni will need to bring white paper as well as drawing or painting supplies of their choosing (oil pastels, markers, crayons, colored pencils, or watercolor).

Rebuilding Your Relationship with Food
In this workshop, alumni will focus on how food beliefs/food rules develop and how they influence eating habits over time. We will explore food labeling and develop strategies that help alumni move towards food neutrality.

Awakening Your Spirit Through Dance
Participants will join together to transform their everyday actions into expressive communication that will give form to their feelings, renew their spirit and revitalize the connection between their self and others; leaning in and anchoring body/mind will be our focus.

Importance of Variety in Nutrition in Recovery
In this workshop, alumni will explore the benefits of food variety—more specifically, how it applies to food neutrality and its impact on various stages of recovery. Attendees will learn the benefits of macronutrients and micronutrients as well as methods to try new foods in order to gain awareness of how taste buds change over time.

Your Relationship with Body Image in Recovery
In this workshop, attendees will evaluate their relationship with their body by identifying difficulties and victories throughout the recovery process, recognizing how their body has supported them through difficult times, and setting goals for how to treat their body moving forward.

Creative Connections Through Art Therapy
What does connection mean to you? How do you stay connected and how does this support your recovery journey? Join us as we answer these questions by creating art and sharing our experience of connection with one another. Reaching for Relationships
Connection and disconnection play an important role in the way we feel within a relationship – whether that’s friendships, romantic relationships, or family relationships. Elements of healthy and unhealthy relationships will be discussed in this workshop. Additionally, alumni will explore the role of relationships in sustaining recovery and connection versus disconnection within relationships.

Boundaries/Relationships in Recovery
In this workshop, alumni will evaluate their relationships, identify ways to set appropriate boundaries, and reflect on current and past relationships. How to communicate boundaries effectively in relationships will also be addressed.

In this workshop, attendees will evaluate their relationships with social media. How does social media affect recovery? Is it helpful, not helpful and in what ways? How have the challenges of COVID-19, being on Zoom, diet and fitness challenge expectations in social media and differences in the way we treat and connect to ourselves, each other and our bodies?

Maintaining Connection with Your Body
We often need to be reminded that the body has much to tell us if we will only listen! In this workshop, alumni will focus on maintaining a nurturing and healthy body-connection post treatment, as well as address the changes and growth points in their relationship with their body.
