Nestled on a serene 27-acre wooded estate just 10 miles from the heart of Philadelphia, The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia – Spring Lane provides a warm, homelike setting for healing from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, ARFID, and the full spectrum of eating disorders.

Our original residential campus blends expert, evidence-based treatment with a welcoming environment that fosters connection and community. Here, patients find comfort in shared experiences while receiving individualized care from our 24/7 medical and psychiatric teams. Programming is designed to meet complex needs, including those who are medically compromised, have experienced trauma, or are navigating co-occurring substance use.

Many of our dedicated staff have been part of Renfrew for decades, providing patients with not only clinical expertise and a deep commitment to Renfrew’s mission, but also the stability of care that benefits every patient’s treatment experience. The multidisciplinary team includes therapists, dietitians, and medical professionals who deliver care through The Renfrew Center’s Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders®, an evidence-based, transdiagnostic approach grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and relational-cultural principles. This model is part of the Oxford University Press Treatments That Work series.
