Midlife Eating Disorders: When Aging and Diet Culture Collide (Re-broadcast)
Wednesday, January 15, 2025 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (ET)
Free | Rebroadcasted Webinar
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (ET)
Presented by: Ashley Moser, LMFT, CEDS - Clinical Education Specialist, The Renfrew Center
Held Online
In today’s culture, the relentless pressure to defy the aging process is as equally as intense as the societal pressure to be thin. In midlife, these messages can collide and create the ‘perfect storm’ for eating disorders to become an unsustainable way of meeting both unrealistic societal standards.
This webinar will examine the overlap of aging and diet culture and the pressures facing those in midlife. Skills will be provided to attendees to navigate ageing and all those accompanying changes while staying connected to what matters most: values, well-being, and connection.
*Please note: this is a re-broadcast and not a live presentation.
