12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (ET)

Presented by: Holly Willis MSN, PMHNP-BC - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, The Renfrew Center

Held Online

The interplay between Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and eating disorders can complicate the journey to healing. Yet, understanding how these conditions affect one another is crucial to providing effective and compassionate care.

This neurodivergent-affirming webinar will focus on the complexities of managing ADHD in individuals with eating disorders from a psychiatric and medical lens. Examining how ADHD symptoms, such as impulsivity and inattention, can impact eating behaviors and recovery outcomes, this presentation will also cover the various classes of medications used to treat ADHD, including stimulants and non-stimulants, and discuss their potential side effects. Participants will learn strategies for assessing progress in their patients, to ultimately help them achieve comprehensive and lasting recovery.
