Holding Space for Healing: Balance and Bravery in the Holiday Season

Hosted by The Renfrew Center
Held Online via Zoom
During the winter holiday season, we may feel called to reflect on our priorities and intentions for the days and weeks ahead. For some, this time brings an abundance of social events and obligations, making it difficult to balance commitments to others with care for ourselves. For others, the season can feel quiet or lonely, especially when eating disorders have led to disconnection or isolation.
While setting boundaries can help us protect our wellbeing, they can also, at times, keep us from the connection we long for. Whether you’re overwhelmed by the demands of the season or hoping to create meaningful connection where it’s been missing, this conversation is for you.
Join us for a FREE virtual panel discussion, facilitated Alumni Services Coordinator, Erin Birely, LCPC, focused on navigating the holidays while maintaining balance and holding space for healing. Each panelist will share their story of recovery and how they’ve set realistic yet courageous expectations for the holiday season, followed by a Q&A with attendees. We hope you’ll join us for this rich and inspiring conversation!
