11:15am – 12:05pm
Reminder: Pick 1 workshop.
- Connecting Your Body with Nutrition
Facilitator: Samantha Johnson, MPH, RDN, LDN
Nutrition in recovery is not just about meeting physical needs, but also about rebuilding trust with the body and learning to listen to its cues with care and curiosity. Diet culture often creates confusion and rigidity around food, making it difficult to connect with what our bodies truly need. In this workshop, participants will be invited to explore how nutrition can support both physical and emotional recovery, while also fostering a more compassionate relationship with food and the body. Led by eating disorder dietitians, this session will offer space to reflect on internal cues such as hunger, fullness, and satisfaction, and to consider how nourishment can support energy, stability, and connection in daily life.

- Creating Safe Connections with Self & Others
Facilitators: Susan Kleinman, MA, BC-DMT, NCC, CEDS-C and Corina Gomez, LMHC
The connections that grounded us in treatment are what can carry us forward in life. In this experiential workshop, we will revisit how our feelings, thoughts, and actions are rooted in our connections and can revitalize our relationship with our “self” and others. Attendees are welcome to bring a cherished stuffed animal or a photo of a pet to this session.
Click To Register - When Life Happens: Navigating the Ups and Downs in Recovery
Facilitators: Janine Furdella and Karla Correa
Recovery is not a linear path, and life’s challenges, changes, and unexpected moments can bring both progress and difficulty into focus. Times of stress, transition, or uncertainty may feel especially vulnerable, and it can be hard to know how to stay connected to recovery when emotions feel heightened or support feels less accessible. In this workshop, participants will be invited to explore the natural ups and downs that occur throughout life and recovery, and to reflect on the tools and supports that can help during more challenging moments. Together, we will cultivate self-compassion, identify personal coping strategies, and consider how to remain grounded in values and connection even when life feels unpredictable.

- Rooted Offline, Connected Online: Finding Balance with Social Media
Facilitators: Francesca Knoll, MS and Alyssa Fialho, MS
Social media can offer opportunities for connection, inspiration, and self-expression, while also presenting challenges that may impact our sense of self, body image, and recovery. In a world that often feels fast-paced and digitally driven, staying grounded in our values and inner experiences can be an important part of healing. In this workshop, participants will be invited to explore their relationship with social media, reflect on how it influences their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and consider ways to engage with it more intentionally. Together, we will cultivate awareness, identify supportive boundaries, and reconnect with what it means to feel rooted within ourselves while navigating online spaces.
Click To Register - A Menu of Nourishment: Identifying What I Need Where I Am At
Facilitators: Skylar Mercer, MS, RDN, LDN and Amy Smith
Nourishment in recovery extends beyond food alone, encompassing the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs that help us feel grounded and supported. Yet, identifying what we need in any given moment can feel complex or out of reach, especially when we are used to prioritizing others or pushing through discomfort. In this workshop, participants will be invited to explore the idea of “nourishment” as a flexible and personal menu of options, reflecting on what feels sustaining in different areas of life. Together, we will cultivate awareness of internal cues, practice self-inquiry without judgment, and consider how to gently meet ourselves where we are with compassion and choice.
Click To Register - Creating Space for Me: Boundaries in Recovery and Relationships
Facilitators: Leah Guba, LSW and Marialena Rago, MS, NCC, LAPC
In recovery, learning to honor our own needs can be both empowering and challenging, especially within our relationships. Boundaries are not about creating distance from others, but about making space for authenticity, safety, and mutual respect. In this workshop, participants will be invited to explore their relationship with boundaries, reflect on where they may feel stretched or unheard, and consider how setting limits can support deeper, more meaningful connections. Together, we will cultivate awareness of our emotional and relational needs, and practice approaching boundaries with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

- Recovery in a Digital World: What Supports Me and What Pulls Me Away
Facilitators: Cassie St. Onge and Maria Bayron
In today’s digital world, we are constantly navigating messages, images, and interactions that can both support and challenge our recovery. While online spaces can offer connection, validation, and resources, they can also pull us away from our values, self-trust, and sense of presence. In this workshop, participants will be invited to reflect on their personal experiences with digital engagement, exploring what feels nourishing and what may feel draining or disconnecting. Together, we will cultivate awareness of how the digital world impacts our recovery, identify patterns that either support or hinder our well-being, and consider ways to engage with technology in a more intentional, values-driven way.
Click To Register - Wild and Rooted: Creative Expression in Connection with Nature
Facilitators: Rachel Woerner, MS, ATR and Linda Dewan, LMSW
Nature offers a powerful invitation to slow down, reconnect, and notice what is unfolding both around us and within us. Through creative expression, we can begin to explore these inner and outer landscapes in ways that feel grounding, freeing, and deeply personal. In this workshop, participants will be invited to engage with nature as a source of inspiration, using art as a tool to reflect, express, and connect. Together, we will cultivate a sense of presence, explore the parallels between natural cycles and our own experiences, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that feel both rooted and free.
Click To Register - Tending to Self: Cultivating Care from Within
Facilitators: Alexis Hill, MSW, LCSW and Silvia Serrano, MS
In the midst of daily responsibilities, recovery, and life’s ongoing demands, caring for oneself can sometimes feel unclear, inconsistent, or difficult to prioritize. In this workshop, participants will be invited to explore what it means to tend to themselves from a place of curiosity, rather than pressure or perfection. Participants will have space to identify practices that can guide meaningful self-care, and consider how to respond to these signals in supportive and sustainable ways.
