- Rooted Together: Supporting Loved Ones in Recovery
Facilitator: Samantha DeCaro, PsyD
Supporting a loved one in recovery can bring a wide range of emotions, questions, and experiences, often alongside a deep desire to help in meaningful and sustainable ways. At times, it may feel unclear how to be supportive without overstepping, withdrawing, or losing connection with oneself in the process. In this workshop, participants will be invited to explore what it means to walk alongside a loved one in recovery while also tending to their own needs, boundaries, and well-being. Together, we will reflect on ways to foster understanding, strengthen communication, and cultivate connection that is grounded in compassion, steadiness, and respect for both the individual in recovery and their support system.
