Renfrew Offers Virtual Programming for College Students During Winter Break
College life often brings with it complex and difficult paths to navigate for students, particularly for those with an eating disorder. Academics, social situations and new levels of independence are exciting and yet, at times, stressful. Winter break can provide students the opportunity to recenter before returning to school, whether virtual or in-person, with renewed strength and confidence.
For college-aged students who choose to participate, The Renfrew Center has integrated specialized programming into both its Virtual Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient levels of care to address the many challenges students face while trying to balance recovery in the midst of a global pandemic.
Discussion covers the following topics:
- Recovery During the COVID-19 Pandemic
- Campus Life
- Dining On & Off-Campus
- Dorm Living
- Exercise Culture
- Social Culture
- Structured Support
