The Unified Family: Working Together in Treatment
Presented by: Angela Kaloudis, LMHC, NCC
Clinical Training Specialist for The Renfrew Center
Wednesday, December 11, 2019
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (EST)
Families and others in a supportive role may often feel confused by how to help their loved one outside the scope of treatment—finding themselves walking on egg-shells. Even for those with the best of intentions, being in a supportive role is not always easy, nor does it follow a straight path. Renfrew considers family and friends to be a pivotal part of the treatment team, working alongside their loved ones and learning to incorporate tangible structure and skills into family sessions.
This webinar will highlight UT Family; The Renfrew Center’s Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders®, a transdiagnostic evidence-based approach modified for family treatment. Attendees will learn key concepts from this treatment model to utilize with families.
