The Internal World of the Clinician:
Our Emotions Matter Too!
Presented by: Ashley Moser, LMFT, Regional Assistant Vice President
and Site Director of The Renfrew Center of Charlotte
Wednesday, April 29, 2020
As clinicians, we are often expected to stay calm, cool and collected despite the many challenging patient crises and presentations we face on a regular basis. Nevertheless, we too have emotions—emotions that may fuel our therapeutic decisions.
This webinar will examine common challenges we confront in working with eating disorder patients and their families and will explore therapeutic options that clinicians can utilize in response to those challenges. Skills to practice what we preach by increasing our own emotion awareness and tolerance will be addressed to ensure we provide the best clinical care for our patients.
