Navigating Higher Levels of Care:
Tools for Treatment Transitions
Presented by: Megan McIntire, MS, LCMHC
Professional Relations Representative, The Renfrew Center of Massachusetts
Wednesday, May 13, 2020
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (EDT)
Transitions to or from a higher level of care can be one of the most challenging aspects of eating disorder treatment – for clinicians as well as clients. This webinar provides an overview of what levels of care look like, how to recognize the critical point at which a client would benefit from a higher level of care and explore the pivotal role outpatient providers play in helping clients effectively utilize acquired treatment tools in their daily lives.
Attendees will examine how protocols culled from The Renfrew Center’s Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders® (UT) can be integrated into their own evidence-based modalities, so as to offer continuity upon patients’ return to outpatient care.
