Self-care is an integral part of the recovery process, but often gets overlooked for its significant impact on our emotional well-being.
In this webinar, Megan McIntire, MS, LCMHC, will discuss how self-care can be used in place of avoidance when facing difficult emotions. Attendees will explore concepts of self-care including setting boundaries, asking for support, practicing self-compassion, and engaging in humor. Additionally, concrete action steps towards developing a personal self-care routine will be provided, as well as suggestions for determining a “back burner” goal to attain in the upcoming months.
