Yes, body acceptance is indeed possible, even in our diet-focused culture—you just need to know the formula to befriend your body and trust in its wisdom.

Rachel Tenny, MA, LPCRenfrew's Alumni Coordinator, and Chelsea Woodard, LPC-MHSP, Site Director at The Renfrew Center of Nashville, will provide attendees with practical skills to enhance both body acceptance and relapse prevention, while exploring how to navigate and tolerate transitions as our bodies change throughout the lifespan. Specific attention will be brought to learning to embrace the pregnant body, the post-partum body and the body belonging to those in the LGBTQ+ community. Tips for navigating social media as well as locating and utilizing platforms to benefit recovery efforts will be provided.
