2023 Call for Workshop Proposals

The 33rd Annual Renfrew Center Foundation
Conference for Professionals

The Renfrew Center Foundation Conference is known for providing expert training and education for professionals in the field of eating disorders. Since 2020 the global pandemic has disrupted our beloved tradition of connecting in-person. While our virtual Conferences in 2020, 2021 and 2022 have maintained the same rigor and quality, many of us have been eagerly waiting for the opportunity to gather together face-to-face.

The 33rd Annual Renfrew Center Foundation Conference will be a HYBRID conference that will run both in-person in Philadelphia, PA, and virtually, beginning Friday, November 10, 2023. The Conference is designed to take advantage of the best that the two modalities can offer, in an effort to be responsive and reflexive to the needs of the professional community near and far, by increasing inclusivity and accessibility.

The Foundation invites you to the 33rd Annual Conference as we expand our focus and broaden our scope to include a wide variety of issues pertinent to today’s clinician. Now, more than ever, therapists are facing acuity, volume and complexity that call for the evolution of what we know by seeking out what we need to know.

Among the topics to be addressed:

  • Clinician burnout
  • Loss & grief
  • Adolescent & emerging adult issues
  • Parenting

  • Intergenerational trauma
  • Intersectional identities
  • Neurodiversity
  • Social justice
