Policy and Action
Did you know that very few federal dollars are allocated to address the problems of eating disorders? Did you know that insurance companies can deny access to care or limit the number of days reimbursed for services? Without adequate treatment, an individual's eating disorder worsens, sometimes leading to death.
The Renfrew Center Foundation is working with policy makers and our Action Network to implement changes in federal and state laws that will facilitate access to appropriate treatment and provide resources for the education, prevention and research of eating disorders.
Educate. Mobilize. Act. Become part of The Renfrew Center Foundation's Action Network. Whether you write a letter, raise money, travel to Washington D.C., or speak to your local legislators, we encourage you to join The Renfrew Center Foundation's Action Network to make your voice heard.
