These weekly therapy groups are for adolescent girls and women who struggle with disordered eating or who are working towards recovery from an eating disorder, and offer structured care in a web-based environment.
These online, virtual therapy groups actively engage participants with each other to explore the emotions and relational functions of their disordered eating. Individuals also develop strategies to improve their communication skills and achieve recovery focused goals. Group curriculum is informed by the empirically based Renfrew Center Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders®.
To get started, you will need to have access to Wi-Fi and a device such as a smart phone, computer or tablet with a camera and screen.
Participants must be located in California, Connecticut, Florida,
Illinois, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
We look forward to expanding this exciting programming option to more states throughout the year.
