The Renfrew Center Named “Healthiest Employer Winner” by The Philadelphia Business Journal
Third year in a row company receives prestigious award
The Renfrew Center, the nation’s first residential eating disorder treatment facility, established in 1985, and the largest network of eating disorder treatment centers, announced it has been named “Healthiest Employer Winner” by The Philadelphia Business Journal. This honor recognizes The Renfrew Center’s commitment to health and wellness in the workplace. This is the third year in a row that the company has received this prestigious award.
"We are honored to be recognized for our dedication in creating a healthy workplace environment," said Marsha Ejiofor, Director of Human Resources at The Renfrew Center. "At Renfrew, it is our hope that through our own health initiatives we are able to model healthy living for our patients."
The Healthiest Employer awards program recognizes organizations that are committed to creating a healthy workplace. Participants complete an online survey administered by a national benchmarking firm, Healthiest Employers of Indianapolis. Company responses are compared with local and national survey samples and scored according to a format that rewards attributes known to distinguished wellness programs.
