Since 1985, The Renfrew Centers have been providing clinical excellence within a nurturing environment -  empowering adolescent girls and women to change their lives.

The Renfrew Center Named a “Center of Excellence” by ValueOptions Signature Networks

The Renfrew Center, established in 1985, is the nation’s first residential eating disorder treatment facility and largest network of eating disorder treatment centers, announced it has been named a “Center of Excellence” by ValueOptions Signature Networks.

The Renfrew Center was selected for its expertise in providing high-quality, individualized care in the treatment of eating disorders. Renfrew’s treatment philosophy emphasizes a respect for the unique psychology of women, the importance of a collaborative therapeutic relationship, and the belief that every woman needs to actively participate in her own recovery.

"We are honored to be recognized as a “Center of Excellence” reaffirming our position as one of the most prominent eating disorder treatment facilities in the country," says Samuel E. Menaged, JD, Founder and President of The Renfrew Centers.  "At Renfrew, we place great value in providing the highest level of patient care and demonstrating clinical excellence that empowers women to recover from their eating disorders.”

The Signature Network, which launched in February 2014, works with providers already in the ValueOptions network so contracts will not change when patients are referred through the Signature Network.

The Renfrew Center, the pioneer in eating disorder treatment and research, has treated more than 65,000 women with eating disorders and other behavioral health issues and trained more than 25,000 professionals around the world. It has facilities in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. The Renfrew Center has contacts with more than 100 insurance companies nationwide.
