The Renfrew Center of Baltimore Now Open
The Renfrew Center, the nation’s first residential eating disorder treatment facility, established in 1985, and largest network of eating disorder treatment centers, announced today it has opened its 13th facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The facility is located at 1122 Kenilworth Drive, Towson, MD 21204.
The new site, like all of its centers, specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, EDNOS, binge eating disorder, and related mental illnesses. Programming at The Renfrew Center of Baltimore consists of a comprehensive range of services, including day treatment, intensive outpatient and group therapy.
Renfrew’s treatment philosophy emphasizes a respect for the unique psychology of women, the importance of a collaborative therapeutic relationship, and the belief that every woman needs to actively participate in her own recovery. The Renfrew Center works directly with most major insurance companies.
The Renfrew Center, the pioneer in eating disorder treatment and research, has treated more than 65,000 women with eating disorders and other behavioral health issues and trained more than 25,000 professionals. It has facilities in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas.
