The Renfrew Center of Connecticut specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and related mental illnesses. Programming consists of a comprehensive range of services including day treatment, intensive outpatient and group therapy.

The Renfrew Center of Connecticut is less than one mile from interstate 95 and is located in Old Greenwich CT, exit 5 off 95, 1445 East Putnam Ave (also known as RT 1). There is public transportation that stops directly in front of the site, two hundred yards from the front entrance. Additionally, there are designated parking spaces in front of the site, which is easily accessible from the Metro North and Amtrak train terminal in downtown Stamford, CT.


Meet our Clinical Team:

Lori Grossman Ciotti, LICSW, is the Assistant Vice President of the Northeast Region of The Renfrew Centers. She received her Bachelor's degree in English from Tufts University and her Master's degree in Social Work from Simmons College. Ms. Ciotti is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and has extensive business experience including founding and managing her own company. Most recently, she was the Corporate Clinic Director for a multi-site mental health facility in the Boston area.

Judith Mosesso, LMSW, is the Site Director at The Renfrew Center of Connecticut. She has been with Renfrew since 2013, previously in the positions of IOP Team Leader and Primary Therapist. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. John’s University. Ms. Mosesso has more than 25 years of marketing experience in the financial services industry and is a certified yoga instructor. Her professional interests focus on eating disorders, nutrition, somatic experiences, body image and interpersonal relationships. She is a member of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work and the Connecticut Chapter of International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP.)

The Renfrew Center of Connecticut is offering the following groups:

The Aftercare Group is for adolescent girls and women struggling to overcome anorexia, bulimia or disordered eating patterns involving binge eating or restricting. Led by a licensed clinician, the group provides a safe atmosphere where group members will explore eating disorder triggers as well as issues concerning body image, relationships, work and school. Members of the group are required to be followed by an outpatient therapist in order to participate.

This group is led by Judy Mosesso, LMSW, Site Director at The Renfrew Center of Connecticut.

The Emotional Eating Group provides a safe and supportive environment in which women can explore the emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal factors influencing their eating behaviors and the feelings, thoughts, and beliefs about their bodies. While focusing on a change in eating behavior from eating without regard to eating mindfully and to satiety, employing hunger and satiety cues, this group also addresses issues related to family, work, relationships, and phase of life so that individuals can explore lifestyle changes that promote recovery.

This group is led by Judy Mosesso, LMSW, Site Director at The Renfrew Center of Connecticut.
