The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia - Center City
The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia – Center City specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and related mental illnesses. Programming consists of a comprehensive range of services including day treatment, intensive outpatient and group therapy.
The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia – Center City is NOW OPEN! This site is Renfrew’s 4th facility in Pennsylvania and 19th location nationwide.
The feedback we received from consumers and professionals led us to recognize an overwhelming demand for services which made opening a site in Center City the obvious next step. This location allows local patients to easily transition between all levels of care, including Residential treatment at our nearby 58-bed facility.
The Renfrew Center is pleased to offer a new, Virtual Therapy Group for adolescent girls and women in Pennsylvania who struggle with disordered eating or who are working towards recovery from an eating disorder.
This online, virtual therapy group offers structured care in a web-based environment. Participants actively engage with each other to explore and understand the emotions and relational functions of their disordered eating and develop strategies to connect to emotions, improve communications and achieve recovery focused goals. Group curriculum is informed by the empirically based Renfrew Center Unified Treatment Model for Eating Disorders®.
To get started, you will need to have access to Wi-Fi and a device such as a smart phone, computer or tablet with a camera and screen.
Participants must be located in Pennsylvania.
