This workshop examines critical factors that contribute to difficulties clinicians face today in their work with patients with eating disorders: patient complexity, treatment-modality complexity and the gap between research and practice.
The program will explore the benefits of a cutting edge transdiagnostic treatment that provides an effective solution to many of these challenges. Through lecture and experiential demonstration, this workshop will apply concepts from David Barlow’s Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders to the treatment of complex eating disorders.
