How to Exist Between Loving or Hating Your Body

Wednesday, July 17, 2019

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (EDT)

  6:00 pm - 7:00 pm (EDT)

In this webinar, McKenzie Wilkins, LCSW, Primary Therapist at The Renfrew Center of Charlotte and Rachel Tenny, MA, LPC, Alumni Services Coordinator will dive into the topic of what it means to have a neutral relationship with your body. There are alternatives to the frequent messages that endorse the concept that you need to “love yourself” in order to experience recovery.

This webinar will introduce you to the concept of Body Neutrality which offers a way to conceptualize your body as a way in which you experience life vs. something you need to change.
