The Renfrew Center of Atlanta invites alumni, friends, families, and the community to join us for a free workshop.
With the ever-growing list of demands on women in today’s society, many find themselves overwhelmed and overworked. Not only are women expected to do it all, but they are expected to look good while doing it too.
This workshop will identify the pressures that women are faced with to uphold the standard of perfection, not just in their daily lives but also in their physical appearances.
- Explore the increasing demands placed upon women to achieve at home, at work and in the mirror.
- Recognize the impact of common major life transitions on how women perceive themselves and their bodies during this phase of life.
- Discuss their struggles with trying to balance responsibility and self-care in a community of peers.
- Learn strategies to navigate external pressures and reconnect with what they value.
