Alumni Event: 2018 Winter Event - Relationships in Recovery
December 11, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Relationships in Recovery:
Connecting to Yourself, Relating to Others
One important element in successfully navigating recovery is identifying your true self, formerly hidden by your eating disorder. This step will give you the ability to foster positive and supportive relationships and set boundaries when necessary.
Join us for an enlightening and supportive workshop that will provide strategies for assessing the quality of your current relationships as well as expressing your needs and gratitude to those you depend upon for support.
In this workshop, you will:
- Understand the different types of relationships and why relationships are so valuable in recovery
- Prioritize your values to determine what is important to you
- Recognize which relationships are helpful or harmful to your recovery
- Learn techniques for setting boundaries
