Full-Time Counselor - Philadelphia, PA

The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia has an immediate opening for a full-time Counselor.

Responsibilities: Facilitates group discussions, community meetings and other therapeutic groups; provides 1:1 contact, individual support and crisis intervention as directed or needed; monitors meal time and documents meal compliance; facilitates the after meal support group; attends required meetings, and completes all required documentation.

Requirements: BA/BS in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or similar major; experience with eating disorders strongly preferred or 5 years direct patient care experience or Certification in Addictions Counseling (CAC).

Professional Relations Representative - Dallas TX

The Renfrew Center of Texas has an immediate opening for a full-time, benefits eligible Professional Relations Representative.

Responsibilities: Provides outreach to healthcare professionals, corporations, and educational institutions in order to educate the target audiences about The Renfrew Center's programs and services; creates, maintains and strengthens professional relationships with goal of increasing admissions; and acts as a liaison to community at events and conferences.

Requirements: Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred. Two or more years experience in health care is essential; sales experience is highly desirable. Primary Therapist - Nashville, TN

The Renfrew Center of Tennessee has openings for two (2) full-time, benefits eligible Primary Therapists.

Responsibilities: Providing individual and family therapy as well as group therapy; providing case management services; conducting reviews with insurance companies; participating as an active member of the treatment team; interacting with referring therapists; and maintaining clinical documentation. As well as, conduct psychosocial assessments; determining an appropriate level of care for the patient; completing all relevant admission chart paperwork; completion of pre-certification with insurance/managed care company; collecting all relevant preadmission paperwork and information, and distributing same to all relevant department members; and other duties as assigned.  Work with patient and family to accept the level of care recommendation and enter services as soon as possible.

Requirements: This position requires a Masters in Social Work or related field, PsyD or PhD.  Must be licensed in Tennessee.  Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred; addictions experience an asset.

Hours: Monday-Friday. This position will require some evening hours.

Charge Nurse – Philadelphia, PA

The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia has an immediate opening for full-time Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities: Responsible for oversight of the day to day operations of patient care including the team center and examination center activities, assists with new admissions, quality improvement data collection, ensuring patient care areas are stocked with supplies.  Provides day to day nursing leadership by ensuring assignments and daily rounds are completed and documented by staff, identifies problems and assists with resolution when feasible and provides follow up with outside providers when indicated.  Acts as liaison with CRNP, MD’s, Admission Office when contacting PCP’s to explain or obtain medical requirements for potential new admissions.  Monitors medication usage, medication room medications.  Reviews Joint Commission regulations to ensure compliance with same.  Provides in-services to staff when indicated; enhances communication and needs between staff and DON and attends quality assurance, admissions, PMN squared, staff nurse meetings and others as assigned.

Requirements: B.S.N. preferred with current PA license and CPR certification. Minimum 5-years nursing experience, psychiatric experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred CPR certification. A commitment to women’s mental health issues and/or experience working with eating disorders is a plus!

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Intake Coordinator – Philadelphia, PA

The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia has an immediate opening for a full-time, benefits eligible Intake Coordinator in the Program Information Department.

Responsibilities: The primary role of this position is receiving calls from prospective patients, families, and professionals and to provide information about Renfrew’s programs and services; utilizing sales ability/experience in a highly supportive and responsive manner that will engage them to move forward with Renfrew services. 

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to establish rapport.  Prefer previous experience working with women’s mental health issues and eating disorders.  Basic math skills and computer keyboarding proficiency are required; sales experience is an asset.

The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia has openings for two (2) on-call Registered Nurses.

Responsibilities: Providing excellent nursing care to patients with eating disorders; completing all necessary patient documentation and assessments; checking vital signs and responding to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
           
Requirements: Current PA RN License and CPR certification. The ideal candidate will preferably have excellent psychiatric and medical-surgical nursing skills and a commitment to women’s mental health issues. Office Manager – Dallas, TX


The Renfrew Center of Texas has an immediate opening for a full-time, benefits eligible Office Manager. 

Essential Functions: The Office Manager is responsible for the daily administrative operations of the front office while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality to protect our client’s rights. This requires balancing the needs of the clients, client’s families, administrative staff, clinical staff, Renfrew headquarters, other Renfrew Sites, outside allied agencies / professionals such as HMO’s and doctors. Modern office practices dictate the need to manage phones, faxes, computers and systems, clerical issues, track invoices and billing, manage time and show warmth and compassion for our clients.

Job Duties: 

  • Interacts with clients, families and staff demonstrating professionalism
  • Maintains charts and correspondence in a manner that demonstrates a proficient understanding and compliance with HIPAA, Local, State and Federal confidentiality rules and laws
  • Ability to interact with and invoice clients, and accept payments upon day of service. Maintains proper accounting of cash drawer and petty cash reserves 
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Medical Billing/Scheduling software including ADS
  • General office clerical capability
  • Manages multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Oversees office assistants as required

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate/Bachelors or Business School graduate preferred. Five years experience in business office management preferred. Computer literate, with proficiency in MS based office computer systems including MS Word, Excel, and E-Mail systems.

Utilization Coordinator – Nashville, TN


The Renfrew Center of Tennessee has an immediate opening for a part-time Utilization Review Coordinator

Responsibilities: Obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies; understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria; maintain accurate and complete documentation; write financial agreements/addendum and review with patient and/or family; and maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.

Requirements: MSW or Master’s degree in Human Services field or Licensed RN/LPN.   Prior experience working with or in a managed care company is useful. Outpatient therapy is preferred.

Hours: 12 hours per week, Monday-Friday; shift could be between the hours of
8:30 AM and 2:30 PM.

Administrative Assistant – Philadelphia, PA

The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia has an opening for a part-time, benefits eligible Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities: Providing administrative and clerical support to the clinical department; taking minutes at specific meetings; maintaining departmental files including policies, reports, handbooks; generating reports; creating orientation schedules for various disciplines; scheduling rooms for meetings; ordering supplies for the department, assisting with committee work – e.g. Pharmacy and Therapeutics; overseeing and managing Family Weekend; taking attendance at and providing technical and operational support for clinical presentations; sending out notifications and announcements to staff  from clinical administration; maintaining internal distribution lists; working on assigned projects; maintaining paperwork in an organized fashion; and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: College degree with some business background preferred. Prior experience in a clinical setting is an asset.  Advanced customer service/support skills; ability to work well in a team environment; must have solid computer literacy in Word and Excel; good writing/communication skills and strong administrative/organizational abilities.  This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week.

Clinical Supervisor – Nashville, TN

The Renfrew Center of Tennessee has an immediate opening for a full-time, benefits eligible Clinical Supervisor.

Responsibilities: Provides clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary treatment team;  provides regular and ongoing clinical supervision and support to therapists and trainees/interns on the team; provides clinical oversight of quality assurance and performance improvement measures, ensuring documentation compliance requirements in accordance with established policies, procedures, licensing and regulatory guidelines; provides feedback and recommendations regarding clinical program development; reviews level of care assessments and works collaboratively with assessment coordinators regarding appropriate level of care recommendations; assesses the clinical training needs of the staff and coordinates development of the in-servicing schedule; participates in Renfrew wide initiatives related to community education and awareness about eating disorders through presentations, public speaking, media opportunities, etc.  When clinically appropriate this position is also directly responsible for the assessment, care and treatment of several patients on the team.

Requirements: This position requires previous experience in treatment of eating disorders and/or women’s mental health, and a minimum of five years of supervisory experience. The selected candidate will have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated leadership capability.  PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology or MSN, APRN, CRNP or LCSW and Tennessee state licensure.

Primary Therapist – New York, NY

The Renfrew Center of New York has an immediate opening for a benefits eligible, 32 hours a week Primary Therapist.
 
Responsibilities: Providing individual and family therapy as well as group therapy; providing case management services; conducting reviews with insurance companies; participating as an active member of the treatment team; interacting with referring therapists; and maintaining clinical documentation. The primary objective of this position is to provide psychotherapy services to women with eating disorders and their loved ones.

Requirements: Masters Degree (or above) in Social Work related field. Current state licensure is required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist). Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred but not required; family therapy training and experience is also strongly preferred as will be on team that focuses on the treatment of adolescents; addictions experience an asset. The successful candidate will be credentialed in most major insurance company behavioral health panels. 

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 12:00PM – 8:30PM (flexible)
