Admissions/UR Coordinator

The Renfrew Center of Baltimore, MD has an immediate opening for a full-time Admissions/Utilization Review Coordinator.

Admissions Responsibilities:  Conducting psychosocial assessments to determine an appropriate level of care recommendation; completing all relevant admission chart paperwork, including pre-certification with insurance/managed care company and collateral contacts with referring professionals and distributing same to all relevant departments. Work collaboratively with patients, families and referral sources toward patient acceptance of the level of care recommendation and admission to services.  This position will also include some direct patient care, such as case management services and/or facilitating groups and therapeutic meals.  

UR Responsibilities: Obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies; understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria; maintain accurate and complete documentation; write financial agreements/addendum and review with patient and/or family; and maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.

Requirements:  Licensed Master’s level professional required. Previous experience working with eating disordered patients is highly preferred. Prior experience working with or in a managed care company is a plus.

The Renfrew Center of Baltimore, MD has an opening for a on call Diet Tech.

Responsibilities: Assist Dietitian in conducting nutrition groups; reviewing daily food journals to assess patients' nutritional intake throughout treatment; working with vendors to facilitate ordering meals for patients; keeping track of the food inventory, and completing meal set up. This position would also assist with nutritional assessments and establishing individual food plans as needed to initiate patients into appropriate eating patterns and making proper menu choices; participating in weekly rounds and mini teams as needed.

Responsibilities: Providing intensive individual, family/couples and group therapy (including meal support therapy) and coordinating all participants in milieu activities. Postdoctoral Psychology Resident Fall 2015 - Coconut Creek, FL

The Renfrew Center of Coconut Creek, FL has two openings for the Fall 2015. This one year residency provides specialized training in eating disorder treatment with women and adolescent girls and sufficient supervised clinical experience to fulfill requirements for Psychologists seeking licensure in the State of Florida. 

Responsibilities: Function as a primary therapist providing individual, family and group therapies under the supervision of licensed psychologists; be a central member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and take part in clinical discussions and case conferences; attend weekly peer group, clinical staff meetings and individual supervision; work closely with the Utilization Review and Aftercare departments in coordinating level of care changes and overall case management of individual patient care including developing and overseeing treatment plans; supervision of practicum students. 

Requirements: PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology. A doctoral level degree in education or counseling psychology could be acceptable if applicant has relevant, sufficient clinical training and experience.
