Quality Management Manager - Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities: Oversight and coordination of all functions of Quality Management, including but not limited to:

  • State licensing requirements in all states where Renfrew operates
  • Joint Commission accreditation and survey activities for the entire organization
  • Compliance with all corporate policies and procedures
  • Staff training and orientation related to Quality Management and Performance Improvement

Admissions/UR Coordinator-Los Angeles, CA

The Renfrew Center of Los Angeles, CA has an opening for a full-time, benefits eligible Admissions/UR Coordinator for a new outpatient site opening this winter.  

Admissions Responsibilities: Conduct psychosocial assessments to determine an appropriate level of care recommendation; complete all relevant admission chart paperwork, including pre-certification with insurance/managed care company and collateral contacts with referring professionals and distributing same to all relevant departments.  Work collaboratively with patients, families and referral sources toward patient acceptance of the level of care recommendation and admission to services.  This position may also include some direct patient care, such as case management services and/or facilitating groups and therapeutic meals. 

UR Responsibilities: Obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies; understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria; maintain accurate and complete documentation; write financial agreements/addendum and review with patient and/or family; and maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minimum of two years experience required. Masters degree in Human Services preferred.  Licensed Social Worker or comparable licensure also preferred. Previous experience working with patients with eating disorders is highly desired. Prior experience working with managed care companies is a plus. Some evening hours required.

Responsibilities:   The Office Manager is responsible for the daily administrative operations of the front office while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality to protect our client’s rights.  This includes professional interaction with clients, families and staff; maintaining charts and correspondence in a manner that demonstrates a proficient understanding and compliance with HIPAA, Local, State and Federal confidentiality rules and laws; the ability to interact with and invoice clients and accept payments upon day of service;  maintaining proper accounting of cash drawer and petty cash reserves; demonstrating proficiency in Medical Billing/Scheduling software including ADS; general office clerical capability; managing multiple tasks in a timely manner and overseeing office assistants as required.

The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia has an immediate opening for a full-time, benefits eligible A/R Representative in the Business Office.

Responsibilities:  Revenue cycle management in a behavioral health setting. Manages monthly accounts receivable, resolves unpaid claims and self-pay balances.  Works with payers to ensure proper reimbursement is received. Creates billing statements, sends appeals when necessary, prepares accounts for collection and handles all correspondence.  Identifies & escalates payor, reimbursement or process issues.

Requirements: Two to four years of medical accounts receivable experience is required along with a working knowledge of MS Office software and online payor portals (i.e. NaviNet). Prior knowledge of medical billing, denials and appeals process.  College degree and/or EMR experience is preferred. Excellent customer service skills for a high volume fast paced office.

Requirements: Bachelors degree with a minimum of three years Human resources experience or High School Diploma with at least six years of HR Experience. PHR preferred. Experience working with ADP preferred. Ability to communicate with employees, management, and vendors in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear and professional manner. Ability to meet critical deadlines and the ability to balance and complete several projects simultaneously in a demanding environment. Must have strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, strong computer skills and the ability to maintain confidential information. The position requires a team player who works independently.
