Responsibilities: To perform nutritional assessments of all clients, to counsel patients on the principles of well-balanced nutrition in individual sessions, to conduct group nutrition discussions, and to evaluate the Renfrew menu/meal plan.

Responsibilities: Conducting psychosocial assessments to determine an appropriate level of care recommendation; completing all relevant admission chart paperwork, including pre-certification with insurance/managed care company and collateral contacts with referring professionals and distributing same to all relevant departments.  Work collaboratively with patients, families and referral sources toward patient acceptance of the level of care recommendation and admission to services.  This position may also include some direct patient care, such as case management services and/or facilitating groups and therapeutic meals.

Postdoctoral Psychology Residents - Coconut Creek, FL

The Renfrew Center of Florida currently has two (2) full-time, benefits eligible Postdoctoral Psychology Resident opportunities available starting in the fall of 2014. This one year residency provides specialized training in eating disorder treatment with women and adolescent girls and sufficient supervised clinical experience to fulfill requirements for Psychologists seeking licensure in the State of Florida. 

Responsibilities: Function as a primary therapist providing individual, family and group therapies under the supervision of licensed psychologists; be a central member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and take part in clinical discussions and case conferences; attend weekly peer group, clinical staff meetings and individual supervision; work closely with the Utilization Review and Aftercare departments in coordinating level of care changes and overall case management of individual patient care including developing and overseeing treatment plans; supervision of practicum students. 

Requirements:PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology. A doctoral level degree in education or counseling psychology could be acceptable if applicant has relevant, sufficient clinical training and experience.

Responsibilities:  Revenue cycle management in a behavioral health setting. Manages monthly accounts receivable, resolves unpaid claims and self-pay balances.  Works with payers to ensure contracted amount is paid. Creates billing statements, prepares accounts for collection and handles all correspondence.

Requirements: Two to four years of medical accounts receivable experience is required along with a working knowledge of MS Office software and NaviNet.  Prior knowledge of medical billing, denials and appeals process.  College degree and/or EMR experience is preferred. Responsibilities: Performs admission medical history and physical examination on all patients. Responsibilities: Managing the activities of the Patient Accounts Department including billing and follow up on active accounts and those placed for collection.  Provide leadership to the department in order to increase collections and reduce days in Accounts Receivable. Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, implementation and support of all Infrastructure Technology, business systems/ applications and MPLS Hub and Spoke network topology.  Manages the Help Desk staff to respond to and resolve user issues per the established SLA.  Documents and reports Help Desk metrics to the Information Systems Director though Track-IT software.  Mentors Help Desk Personnel in support of existing and newly implemented technologies.  Responsible for data security and HIPAA compliance, capacity planning, data backups and disaster recovery.  Provides technology guidance to the Information Systems director to help set The Renfrew Center’s overall Information Systems strategy and standards.  Maintain the technology roadmap.

Requirements: Masters degree or higher in Mental Health field and a minimum of two years experience in direct services post degree, preferably with an inpatient/residential/PHP unit. Licensure and certification preferred. Training with adolescents and dually diagnosed populations, and experience with eating disorders and women’s issues is preferred.

Education/Experience:  Master’s degree, PsyD or PhD in social services field required. Requires a valid PA license. A minimum of five years upper management experience in healthcare or behavioral healthcare setting required. Experience working with women with eating disorders is preferred. A high degree of organizational, analytical and decision-making skills are required.  Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.  Clinical skills, preferably in behavioral medicine/arts and/or eating disorders are required.  Knowledge of reimbursement issues, including knowledge of managed care environment preferred.  Familiarity with managing budgets and P&L's is preferred.  Competency in use of various computer applications including Microsoft Office and experience with medical management software are preferred.

Responsibilities: Responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy for both adults and adolescents; case management services; collaborating with referral sources and insurance companies; participation as an active member of the treatment team; maintaining clinical documentation.
